think it’s not possible? think again :)

Happy Sunday Everyone! As I sit down and write this, a little over twenty four hours ago, I finished a 16hr overnight training for my upcoming 24hr adventure with the Project Athena Foundation! (now only 11 days away!) Not only was I overwhelmed by the support of my hometown CrossFit gym (CrossFit Python) to take turns cheering me on and training with me every step of the way, but I was again reminded of how much the ExoSym (IDEO) device has changed my life and truly allowed me to dream big dreams again — and accomplish them. ♥

Here is a breakdown of how the training went:

530-630pm – CrossFit workout (Friday night)
630-830pm – Mountain Biking
830-1030pm – Rowing
1030pm-530am – Hiking (into Saturday morning!)
530-730am – Rowing
730-830am – Mountain Biking
830-930am – CrossFit workout

From start to end, I was surrounded by an amazing group of supporters. Through the evening, into the night, and early morning, these incredible people cheered me on and one by one helped see me through to the end. I had a few run-ins with some trees on my bike (hehe), ran away from spiders in the forest at night, rowed till the sun came up, wiped the sweat off my face and smiled with a happy heart — because I felt alive — all thanks to my ExoSym (and lots of PB sandwiches!). After 30 hours of no sleep, I surprisingly felt pretty good — although I will say it felt really good to hit the couch when I got home! Looks like I ended up doing about 20 miles mtn biking, 17 miles night hiking, 24,000 meters of rowing and 2 CrossFit class workouts. #ExoSymplyAmazing

Some people ask me if I was this active and adventurous before I got injured and needed the ExoSym — and to be honest, while I’ve always been an adventurous soul, I’ve never felt so inspired and fired up to pursue life so grandly until that option was nearly taken from me because of my injury. When your ability to live fully is stopped short and you are given a second chance — you never look at life the same way again. Not a day goes by that I am not grateful for how the ExoSym has granted me the ability to pursue my dreams and goals. ♥

So, if you’re wondering what’s possible with the ExoSym (IDEO) device… think again… because the possibilities are endless — it’s just having the time to do them all! ☺

Live big. Pursue your dreams. Have a grateful heart. Never give up.
